I have worked for as a lead evaluator and researcher in the disability/neurodivergent space in Aoteraroa New Zealand for over 25 years. My focus has been the mana and rights of disabled and neurodiverse people and their families / whānau.
I have a PhD (1996 Monash University) in supporting people with learning disabilities in the community and work comfortably with both the qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
I have:

Conducted 100s of evaluations,

Written numerous research papers for government or private agencies and internally.

Provided training for disabled people, family or whānau and frontline staff on a variety of topics (including personal planning, internal monitoring and more recently EGL).

Set up and managed internal consumer led monitoring systems for organisations.
